We work primarily with older homes that need renovation; however, we have renovated homes as old as the 1880’s to as recent as 2003. We are always looking for homes to buy and renovate. We identify houses with an underlying unique character — which is sometimes hidden under years of neglect and poor upgrades — and houses in need of reclamation, refurbishment, and potential additions. Our primary neighborhoods have been the Highlands, Crescent Hill, Clifton, Germantown, and St. Matthews. We have also renovated in southern Jefferson County and Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

Some houses simply need updating and the uncovering of their original charm. Many houses need a little extra space before they can become homes again.  Always keeping the existing aesthetic of the house in mind, we often open and extend kitchens, add bedrooms and expand exterior walls to allow for better flow, more light and space for family.

After new rooms are built and old ones reclaimed, hardwood floors have been polished and lights have been installed it’s time for final touches: and that means staging. To help potential buyers envision what the space could look like we bring in specifically curated furniture and accent pieces to complete our role in the transformation from house to home. Our homes are filled with an abundance of natural and illuminated light, open common spaces and private spaces, hand-crafted trim and built-in elements, kitchens designed by a chef, and always and eye for the subtle details. Our homes are vibrant and dynamic.
